NEW DELHI: The Bengaluru Magistrate court on Friday sent T Naveen Kumar, a denounced in the Gauri Lankesh kill case, to Special Investigation Team (SIT) care for five days.Naveen Kumar assumed name Hotte Manja, an inhabitant of Maddur in Karnataka’s Mandya region and pioneer of Hindu Yuva Sena, was captured by police on February 18 after they recuperated 15 rounds of live projectiles from him. A case under the Arms Act was then enrolled against him and he was remanded to legal authority by a court.

In this way after cross-examination, the SIT testing Lankesh’s murder brought Naveen into their guardianship on March 2 to address him.

DCP M N Anucheth, the examining officer for the situation, revealed to PTI that Naveen has been named as a charged and captured by the SIT for his claimed association in the Lankesh kill.

Gauri Lankesh (55), known as an anarchistic voice with strident against conservative perspectives, was shot dead at short proximity by obscure attackers outside her Bengaluru home on September 5 last year.It is suspected that Naveen gave coordinations to the executioner by directing a recce around Lankesh’s home on September 3 and 5 a year ago. CCTV pictures acquired from the wrongdoing scene demonstrate a man riding a red-dark Bajaj Pulsar bicycle and wearing a full-confront protective cap while directing the recce. The SIT had Naveen ride a bicycle in its guardianship. Those recordings and pictures have been sent to the Forensic Sciences Laboratory for examination.

Naveen’s capture is the first in the Lankesh kill case, and comes days after state Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy said the SIT would soon eliminate any confusion air about the speculate who had been arrested. Naveen’s family has kept up that he is pure and not the slightest bit associated with the case.

Lankesh’s murder had drawn far reaching judgment and the Siddaramaiah government had experienced harsh criticism for not making any progress in grabbing the offenders
