FICCI fixes rate at Private hospitals for COVID-19 treatments

New Delhi: Amid the fear of a new strain of Coronavirus reported in many nations, India registered 20,036 fresh cases of coronavirus which pushed the total tally to 1,02,86,710 in the nation. The active cases now stand at 2,54,254. With 23,181 new recoveries, as far as 98,83,461 patients recovered, and with 256 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll has risen to 1,48,994.

As per the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 10,62,420 samples were tested yesterday.

As per Union Health and Welfare Ministry, the infection (Active) rate is 2.47 percent, the recovery rate has reached 96.08 percent and the death rate is 1.45 percent.

Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan holds a review meeting with the Delhi government for the preparation of the dry run of the COVID19 vaccination drive on January 2, via video conferencing.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) on Thursday permits the emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, making the way for global nations to quickly approve its import and distribution.
