According to the reports, BJP‘s working president Jagat Prakash Nadda will be holding a meeting of the party’s general secretaries today. The meeting will be convened at the party’s headquarter in the national capital.
The meeting is likely to see discussion over the recently held Maharashtra and Haryana elections. It has been also reported that the BJP will plan for the upcoming birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31. It is expected that the party will pay a grand tribute to the late leader. The meeting might also see the finalization for the plans of functions for Patel’s birthday.
Previously on Friday, JP Nadda also held a high-level meeting of the party’s national secretaries and joint general secretaries to finalize the plan for the elections. The main agenda of the meeting was to oversee the party’s preparedness and campaigning strategy.
Maharashtra and Haryana state went to the polls on October 21. Counting of votes will take place on October 24. Maharashtra state saw a total of 60.5 percent voter turnout till 6 pm in yesterday’s assembly polls. While Haryana state recorded a voting percentage of 65 percent in till 6 pm.
