Amidst attempts to forge a Federal Front (without Congress-BJP) on a National Level in a run-up to the Lok Sabha 2019 Elections, Telangana Rashtriya Samithi Boss and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will meet Odisha Cheif Minister and Biju Janta Dal Cheif Naveen Patnaik on December 23 to explore possibilities.

Reportedly, TRS Chief KCR will reach Bhubneshwar on Sunday evening to meet his Odisha Counterpart Patnaik, After a Night Halt, KCR will reach out TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata before leaving to Delhi and hold a discussion to look for possibilities to forge an alliance without the two national parties – Bhartiya Janata Party and Indian National Congress.

In Delhi, KCR is expected to reach BSP Supremo Mayawati and Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav. Interestingly, Both SP and BSP has reportedly finalized the seat-pact in Uttar Pradesh and kept Congress away from the ‘Coalition’.

KCR will also call on a courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will discuss some state-related issues.

According to a statement from the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office, the TRS has engaged a special flight for one month, indicates that TRS Chief and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar will be on run to reach out other regional partners to forge a federal alliance.

TRS after registering a resounding victory in the recently held Telangana State Polls has announced its entry in the national Politics. KCR’s Daugther and Nizamabad MP, K Kavitha recently said that TRS is exploring possibilities to form a front without Congress-BJP and will only have regional parties.

Kavitha also said that in the upcoming Lok Sabha 2019 Elections regional parties will have a greater role to play in the national picture unlike national parties because former can address the aspirations and issues of the people of that particular region unlike the later

KCR right after winning state Polls, Appointed his son KT Rama Rao as the working President of the Party. The Move indicated that KCR himself wants to focus nationally ahead of Lok Sabha 2019 Elections. KT Rama Rao, popularly known as KTR among his supporters recently said his party next step is to win 16 seats of Lok Sabha out of 17 in the Telangana State, leaving one for AIMIM.
