National Capital received light rains on the Thursday morning. Delhi recorded significantly warm day on Wednesday with a maximum tempererature recording 25.1 degree Celsius because of which New De7lhi and parts of NCR experienced rain early morning.
As per the forecast, thunderstorm along with hail is expected today. Snowfall in Kashmir will result in cold wind in the city.
Not only Delhi, but other states like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, parts of Punjab, haryana will experience heavy rain. Thunderstorm will be experienced in western Himalayan region, Punjab, haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh.
According to the weather department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 15°C.
Humidity was 89% in the morning.
SAFAR predicted that, there will be no improvement in the Air quality index for coming three days.
Many trains were delayed because of rain. The delayed trains included, prayag-chandhigarh unchahar express, gaya-new-Delhi mahabodhi express, Bhubhneswar-New Delhi duronto express.
