A happy moment for Supreme Court! Finally, the first five courts have been equipped with tablet computers. No piling up of case files and only digital copies of petitions will be there in front of the Judges. These new case petitions will appear on the monitor. All the claimants and lawyers of Supreme Court are on their toes after the new digitization. Court assistant is facing the major problem as he has to step in every time a judge faces a problem with the new system. No judge will accept the additional paper other than the digitalised petition. Old cases will be continued to be paper based.

Along with the new system, they have introduced a new structure. Earlier all the courtrooms were adjacent to each other but now few of them have been shifted to the first floor. Claimants and lawyers have been found rambling in the corridors, figuring their way to courtrooms. Though a help desk is set up to guide everyone still many of the people were facing this chaotic situation. Even reporters were heard complaining about the new infrastructure. Already the courts were overcrowded by the claimants and media people adds up to the number. For this, the court is trying to regulate the crowd and it has also shifted Appu Ghar for its expansion.

Hopefully, people will soon get used to of this new system.
