Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat from December 21 to December 22 to attend the All-India Annual Conference of State Police Chiefs. He is also likely to address the National Convention of BJP’s Mahila Morcha.

All the Director Generals/Inspectors Generals of Police are attending the conference which is held near the 182-meter tall Statue of Unity.

It is a three-day event and has begun on December 20 and is joined by the Prime Minister on the second day of the Conference. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is also present in the event.

A ‘tent-city’ has been set up near the Statue of Unity, especially for the Conference.

The top agenda of the conference includes militancy in Jammu and Kashmir, cross-border terrorism and attempts to radicalize youth.

Also, the issues of rising communal tension, rampant circulation of communally sensitive content and pornographic material on social media platforms will be addressed in the conference.

On Saturday(December 22), PM Modi will address the Women’s Wing workers of BJP. It will be the concluding day of the National Convention of BJP’s Mahila Morcha at Trimandir, near Adalaj village in Gandhinagar.
