The Delhi Metro Violet line that connects Kashmiri Gate to Escort Mujesar is ready to extend till Ballabhgarh (Raja Nahar Singh). The 3.2KM long Raja Nahar Singh Corridor that connects Ballabhgarh with the Escort Mujeshar Metro Station will be flagged off by PM Narendra Modi on Monday, November 19.

With this Stretch, Ballabgarh will be the fourth Haryana’s city after, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Bahadurgarh that will have the metro connectivity. Now, the total length of the Violet line will be 46.6KM. After the opening of this Corridor, the total length of metro kilometers in Haryana will become 29 km. A total of 40 trains will be running on this 46.6 km long section. All trains running on this section are manufactured in India,” the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said on Sunday.

The new Kashmiri Gate-Raja Nahar Singh Corridor is important in terms of connectivity of South-East Delhi and Central Delhi to Ballabhgarh. A large number of people travel from Ballabhagrh to Delhi and vice-versa’ said a DMRC official. Moreover, the Ballabhgarh Metro station will be connected with an Inter-State Bus Terminal and the Ballabhgarh Railway Station with a foot-over bridge, which is under construction.

During his visit to Gurugram, PM Modi will also inaugurate the Western Peripheral Highway and also address a Rally at Sultanpur Village of the Gurugram District of Haryana.
