Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the projects worth Rs. 2000 crores while addressing the mega “Vijay Sankalp” rally in Rohtak on Sunday. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation of around 10 developmental projects.

Vijay Sankalp rally was organized to celebrate the climax of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar‘s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra‘, which started last month. Narendra Modi while speaking to the general public, laid the foundation for Shri Sheetla Mata Devi Medical College in Gurugram. Along with it, he announced setting up of a food park at Industrial Model Township (IMT) in Rohtak, 576 housing units for police officials in Bhondsi region, and an Integrated Command and Control Center in Karnal area.

He also inaugurated affordable housing flats in Rohtak. Another Integrated Command and Control Center has been permitted to be set up in Faridabad. The Prime Minister also announced the revival of Dulhera distributary that will ensure the supply of adequate drinking water.

He also apprised the masses that development projects worth Rs. 2500 crores are already going on in the Haryana state. The leader also lauded the Haryana people of getting the benefit of “double-engine” that is the rule of BJP government, both at the state level and centre level.

Speaking to the public, as quoted by ANI, he said, “Schemes worth Rs 2,000 crore has been inaugurated today including the opening of degree colleges in Nuh, Sirsa, and Palwal for imparting higher education to the girls.”

From the stage, The Prime Minister also applauded the Harayana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s efforts in weeding out the ills of corruption. He also appreciated the state’s effort in the successful implementation of “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” program. The leader also praised the state for being declared as open-defecation-free. Haryana has also become a kerosene-free state.

Earlier Prime Minister visited the state to unveil the statue of Chhotu Ram in May, to apprise the people about the work done by his government.
