President Ram Nath Kovind inaugrated the Mughal Garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday. He was accompanied by First lady Savita Kovind. They posed together for a photograph.

The Mughal Garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan is one of the most beautiful garden of the world.

The Mughal Garden is opened for the public to visit from February 6, 2019 to March 10, 2019 between 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. Garden will be closed every Monday and on Government holidays.

The gardens will be opened for special categories, differently abled person, farmers, paramilitary and police on 11 March, 2019.

With this year’s colour scheme of the ornamental flowers being white, yellow, red and orange, the President’s garden is blooming with special attraction: 10,000 tulips in vivid colours, seeds of which were obtained from Netherlands, and Mathiola incana, a japan imported flower which blossoms into a beautiful white.

According to the Rashtrapati Bhavan’s representatives, over half a billion visitors enjoyed the Mughal Garden visit last year.

This year a free online booking facility has been introduced at www.presidentofindia.gov.in. Visitors can also book their tour online at www.rb.nic.in.

A maximum of 10 visitors can be booked in a single booking for weekdays visit, while five for weekends and holidays. Mobile number is mandatory for online booking.
