Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has been entrusted with the task to supervise the newly-appointed office bearers of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee. For this, a three-day training workshop will be organized in Raebareli.
The training workshop will be held on October 14, 15 and 16. According to the sources, the new district heads will also be given training in the workshop, which will be held in two parts. It has been reported that the leaders will also be given information on all the issues related to the Congress party’s ideology.
AICC head of the training department Sachin Rao and AICC head of social media Rohan Gupta will also be present in the session to train the Uttar Pradesh office bearers. An anonymous close source was reported saying, “Priyanka Gandhi will meet everyone. What will happen in the Raebareli training workshop is not known but we are all very excited. The party has given a big responsibility by identifying the grassroots people with the thought that together we will work to strengthen the party in the state.”
The party had re-structured it’s existing leadership order in the state and paved the way to clear new appointments on Monday. Kushinagar MLA Ajay Kumar Lallu was appointed as the President of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee. Aradhana Misra aka MONA was appointed as the leader of the Legislative party in the state.
Along with it, Congress has also appointed 4 Vice-President to the Uttar Pradesh unit of the party. The party also appointed 12 general secretaries for assisting the party-work. In another released statement, Congress had announced the appointment of the Advisory Council to the General Secretary and a Working Group on Strategy and Planning.
