Ashok Gehlot said I was watching TV at night, they were poor people, crying.
Rajasthan Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot was speaking at a function organized on Ambedkar Jayanti in Jaipur. He said that on one hand we are saying that innocent people are being caught in Karauli. Should the Rajasthan government go to the homes of the people arrested in the Karauli case and run bulldozers only on the basis that they have been arrested. What would have happened to them if the houses were demolished?
He said that “bulldozer politics is an insult to India’s democracy and constitution. He further adds that nobody stands above the law. He also said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has put democracy in danger by flouting the Indian constitution.”
pic.twitter.com/l83x3HvAj7

He said, no one has the right to break a house on the basis of the allegation only. This right is with the law, the law should take its own course. If there is no rule of law, then everyone will have to suffer one day or the other.
Slamming BJP he said, they are flouting the law, the constitution. Democracy itself has been put in danger. Judiciary is under pressure, ED, CBI raids are taking place. What is happening inside the country? The youth of the country will have to understand in which direction the country is going, otherwise they will suffer in the times to come.
Gehlot said that the whole world sees our constitution with respect, the whole world respects the basic spirit of the constitution, and the BJP people are tearing it apart. We are worried that if we do not give a proper answer in time then one day everyone will have to suffer.
Meanwhile, the attack from Rajasthan’s chief minister comes amid huge scrutiny of the Gehlot government over the communal violence in Karauli.
