A North Korean soldier has been defected to South Korea on December 1, when he was found crossing the military demarcation line by the South Korean troops surveilling over there

In a statement, the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) military said “a North Korean soldier was detected crossing the military demarcation line” by the South Korean soldier troops, when they were surveilling around using surveilling equipment.

Korean soldier is now captured by South Korean. The statement states, “The soldier is safely in our custody.” It also states, “Related agencies plan to investigate him regarding the details of how he came to the South.”
Even after the installation of denuclearize between Pyongyang and Washington after the talks, both the two Koreans are heading with reconciliation process, trying to take steps to ease the tension between the two Koreans.

Around 30,000 of North Korean civilians has fled from there, though most of them has flee across the non-permeable border with China, and also near the inter-Korean border, which is also fortified using barbed wire and minefields.

In May, two North Korean civilians were noticed defected to South Korea on boats across the Yellow sea. Earlier in November 2017, a soldier from North Korea drove into the border of South Korea and ran.
