CA aspirant Suman Rao, a 20 year old girl from Rajasthan, won the title of MISS INDIA 2019. Last year’s winner Anukreethy Vas from Tamil Nadu crowned her successor at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium, Mumbai.
She flooded into the glee of cheers and joy after attaining the title, while expressing her words of gratitude she said I am happy to emerge as a winner and can stand out as an inspiration to all those girls who belong to the place from where I am.
The other winners of the pageant were, Chhattisgarh’s Shivani Jadhav, an engineer by qualification, was crowned Miss Grand India 2019, while management student Shreya Shanker from Bihar won Miss India United Continents 2019 title.
The winners were judged by the renowned personality of film fraternity: choreographer Remo D’Souza alongside actress Huma Qureshi, Chitrangada Singh, actor Aayush Sharma, fashion designer Falguni Shane Peacock, Indian footballer Sunil Chhetri and Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponca de Leon.
The event was hosted by Bollywood well-known director Karan Johar and actor-anchor Maniesh Paul along with Miss India 2017 Manushi Chhillar. Various celebrities also graced the event by their power pack performances like Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Nora Fatehi and Mouni Roy
