Sushma Swaraj during a week-long trip to the United States on the sidelines of the UN Assembly annual session met Donald Trump‘s daughter Ivanka Trump.

Ivanka who is also the advisor of the United States President Donald Trump will be leading the American delegation to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in India in November.

During the meeting, both the women held a discussion on the idea of women entrepreneurship and workforce development in India and the US. Following the meeting, Ivanka tweeted “We had a great discussion on women’s entrepreneurship, the upcoming #GES2017 and workforce development in the US and India.”

Ivanka will be visiting India in November to represent the United States at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES). The GES is being jointly hosted by India and the US in Hyderabad from November 28 to 30. Many investors, emerging entrepreneurs and leading businessmen from across the world will be gathering to attend the summit.

Ivanka expressed her respect and gratitude towards the Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and said that she is a charismatic foreign minister. “I have long respected India’s accomplished and charismatic Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, and it was an honor to meet her today,” Ivanka tweeted.

Sushma Swaraj will be addressing the UN General Assembly on September 23 and will leave for India the day after that. She reached the United States on Monday and will be in the States for a week. During her stay, she will be holding at least 20 bilateral and trilateral meetings.

The Indian External Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj also held bilateral meetings with the Bangladesh Prime minister Sheikh Hasina and Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay. But neither the issues of Rohingya refugees nor the Dokhlam standoff were discussed during the meeting with the respective Prime Ministers.

She will be leaving for India on 25 Sep.
