Actor Swara Bhasker along with Independent Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mewani on Tuesday held a ‘padyatra’ in East Delhi for Aam Aadmi Party Candidate Atishi. She on the occasion seek votes for the AAP Candidate for the polls due on May 12 in the national capital.

Swara Bhasker in a run-up to the national elections was seen at Begusarai in support of Former JNUSU President and CPI Candidate Kanhaiya Kumar who is pitched against BJP‘s Giriraj Singh. The critically acclaimed actor had earlier also campaigned for Congress Digvijay Singh who is taking on Sadhvi Pragya in Bhopal.
Apart from Swara Bhasker, the national award winner Prakash Raj has also arrived in the national capital to support AAP candidates.
AAP is contesting all 7 seats in the national capital. The party has named Atishi from Delhi East, Raghav Chaddha from Delhi South, among others for the mega battle of ballots. Atishi is pitched against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Candidate Gautam Gambhir and Arvinder Singh Lovely of Congress.
Lok Sabha Polls 2019 has already begun and would spread on Seven Phases starting from April 11 to May 19. Counting of Votes and Results for the mega Battle of ballots will be announced on May 23.
All 7 parliamentary seats of Delhi will vote on May 12. The Campaign for Phase VI will come to halt on May 10.
