Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin visits Delhi’s School and Mohalla Clinic.Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin accompanied by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia at Rajkiya Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya in West Vinod Nagar.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin visited a Delhi government school and a mohalla clinic in East Delhi on Friday. He is on a three-day visit to the national capital.

Stalin was welcomed by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and greeted by teachers and students of the school at Rajkiya Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya in West Vinod Nagar, with the students presenting him roses. It is one of the Delhi government’s model schools.

“Visited Model School and Mohalla Clinic initiatives of Delhi government along with Honorable Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. We will also be establishing a world class Government Model School in Chennai soon and I have extended by invitation to Arvind Kejriwal in advance,” Stalin tweeted after the visit.

He also said in series of two tweets in Tamil “When I visited the school in Delhi today, I was amazed to see the initiative #BusinessBlasters to promote the skills of the students there. Students and teachers have soaked me with their love. When someone presented the teacher with a sketch of the lead artist, I was moved.” He also stated “Tamil Nadu students and teachers need to go beyond textbooks and further develop their knowledge and skills. The world is just outside the window! Innovate it with your skills! Enrich!”

Kejriwal tweeted “I am very delighted that Thiru MK Stalin visited Delhi Government’s schools and Mohalla Clinics today. This country can only progress if we all learn from each other’s good ideas.”

Sisodia tweeted “Hon. CM Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin ji, visited our Delhi School today. It was an honour to show him around our school along with Hon CM Delhi Arvind Kejriwal ji. I’d like to thank CM MK Stalin for his gesture, which will encourage states to work together to improve the education system.”

Stalin also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari, with demands pertaining to the welfare of Tamil Nadu on Thursday. He requested Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to release the pending dues, local body grants and to extend the GST compensation period by at least two years beyond June 2022 on Friday. On the same day he also met Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal.
