Tata Tea- Campaign

To connect with 1 million people, Tata Tea aims to launch the second edition of its iconic ‘Jaago Re’ campaign. The campaign will highlight the issues related to women safety and sports encouragement in India.

Tata Global Beverages Ltd who owns Tata Tea has contacted with Indian gymnast Dipa Karmakar and women’s rights activist Ranjana Kumari for the campaign. They will be sharing views on these issues, create awareness and inspire people to take action by signing petitions and taking the pledge in ‘Jaago Re’ 2.0 – ‘Alarm Bajne se Pehle Jaago Re’. The company with this campaign aims to submit the 1 million petitions of people to the government until October.

First edition of this campaign featured the reactive nature of people and introduced ‘pre-activism’. While the second edition will be aiming to inspire people to ‘pre-act’ and drive a behavioral change by signing petitions on issues listed.

The company will be running a 360-degree campaign by engaging media platforms, including digital and social. While the company denies the amount they will be investing in this campaign.

Regional President, India Sushant Dash said “In the entire campaign we are talking like youth. The language which we use in this is what the youth like to hear but in terms of message point, we want it to be for everyone”. While the campaign will accommodate people from all age groups.
