Lok Sabha MP and Son of Lok Janshakti Party Chief Ram Vilas Paswan, Chirag Paswan on Monday dismissed all rumors and speculations about LJP quitting BJP led alliance and will follow in the footsteps of the Telugu Desam Party.
Chirag Paswan while speaking on the programme of a TV Show said ‘The Lok Janshakti Party is with the National Democratic Alliance and will remain with the NDA’. Paswan said that his party’s alliance with the BJP is “strong” and that the duo will fight the 2019 Lok Sabha election together. ” We are with the NDA and are going to be with the NDA.”
Chirag Pawan’s comments came in response to another panelist Mohd Salim, CPI who confidently said that Lok Janshakti Party would soon quit the BJP led NDA.
Chirag Paswan’s comments also come at a time when important NDA allies have either quit the alliance or have been making noises about wanting to quit. Recently, RLSP Chief Upendra Kushwaha has announced its break up with NDA and resigned as the Union Minister.
‘The LJP will fight the 2019 election with the BJP and the NDA will form the next government’ Chirag said.
