New Delhi, June 3 (IANS) Women in the national capital can travel free in state-run DTC buses as well as Delhi Metro, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Monday.
The departments concerned have been asked to submit a report on ridership within a week, he told the media here.
He further said, “Officers have been given 7 days period to come up with detailed plan. Delhi govt also seeks people’s suggestions on this. Email your suggestions on [email protected]”
He said, “Delhi govt will bear all the expense of this scheme. Scheme will be implemented in upcoming 2 to 3 months.”
