Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal will hold a meeting at the Delhi Secretariat on Monday regarding the rising levels of Yamuna

NEW DELHI: The Yamuna river on Monday was found flowing above warning level at the Iron Bridge in Delhi.

At 8 AM, the water level of Yamuna was at 204.56 metres. This is above warning level. The danger level for the river stands at 205.33 metres.

In a tweet, Arvind Kejriwal said, “Am meeting officers from all concerned depts at 1 PM to assess the situation and the preparations.”

All the agencies working on flood and relief work have been called for the meeting. The national capital received light to moderate rainfall intermittently throughout the day on Saturday and it continued even on Sunday morning.

The Yamuna Nagar administration has issued an alert till Delhi.
