Government of Uttar Pradesh announces job to dependant of martyred jawaan.

Lucknow:

The Yogi Adityanath government has said they will provide employment on compassionate grounds to dependants of martyred jawans of armed forces and central para military forces who had a domicile of origin in Uttar Pradesh.

The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting headed by chief minister of uttar pradesh yogi adityanath yesterday.

What is this scheme ?

Under this scheme the job will be given to one family member of an army man or para military soldier getting martyred in battlefield under a laid down criteria that would include age limit ranging from 18 to 58 years.

Tribute from State Government

State cabinet minister Shrikant sharma said –

“It has been decided that dependants of Jawans who attain martyrdom while discharging their duties will be given jobs on compassionate grounds.

It will be a tribute to the martyrs from the state government .”

How beneficial will this scheme be ?

The title “Martyr” is a great achievement in itself .”Humans are born without anything but die with their name so,that name must not be a word it must be a history.”And martyr’s fulfills this saying completely. So,for no doubt their families deserve special attention and allowances as well .Under this scheme one member from each Martyr’s family will be provided a job.As per my opinion this is a very good attempt but these schemes and promises should not be limited to paperwork and fake political stunts, government should take clean and transparent action under this.

Under an open letter to the government employee one of the dependant of martyr said following deep words-

“Sir, my family did get some money. We were paid all the dues that were owed to my family in the form of my Father’s Pension, his GPF and Death Claim and I am extremely thankful for that. We also received 1.5 lakh rupees on top of that from the Government for which we are highly obliged. And just to be clear, my family doesn’t want the 5 lakh rupees that was mistakenly promised to us. Five, Ten, Fifteen Lakh Rupees cannot secure a family’s future it can only act as a short-term Financial Cushion. Families like mine just want the Government to provide us an opportunity to earn our livelihood.”
