In a reshuffle move, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh Government on Thursday transferred 18 IPS officers. Speaking to media about the transfers, State Home Department Spokesperson said that government has transferred 18 IPS with DIG (Intelligence), Meerut, Rajendra Prasad Pandey, has been shifted to Anti-Corruption Wing, Lucknow in the same position.

While in other changes, the Government transferred ASP Economic Offence Wing, Lucknow, Rakesh Pushkar. He has now been directed to take charge of SP Vigilance Department, Lucknow.

Among others include the transfer of the Assistant Superintendent of Police in Crime Branch-CID, Lucknow, Sunita Singh. She has now been made Superintendent of Police in the same department.

While the Superintendent of Police (Vigilance), Lucknow, Rajendra Kumar, has been made SP (Intelligence), Ayodhya, the spokesman told.

Earlier on Wednesday, Coming down heavily on the corrupt officers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh Government issued a strict warning to over 400 corrupt officers of several departments while 200 such officials have been directed to take voluntary retirements.

As per the government’s officials, the government, following its strict ‘no corruption tolerance’ policy, has decided to give early retirements to over 200 officials as they were found guilty in many corruption cases. While over 400 officers and employees have been warned of severe punishment.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had earlier said that he will not tolerate a bit of corruption and corrupt officers will be shown doors without even a second thought by giving them early retirement.

Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also directed all the officials to reach their offices by 9.00 am. He has warned the officials and said that strict action will be taken against those who will not follow the directions.
