The places mentioned are not in any order of ranking!

1.Bhai (lotus) Temple

A temple made of white marble and surrounded with huge gardens and ponds. It has to be one of the most beautiful places to go.

Location: Near Nehru Place, south New Delhi.
Entry Cost: Free.
Opening Hours: Daily, from 9.00 a.m. until sunset.

2.Garden Of 5 Senses –

One the most beautiful gardens that you must pay a visit to.
This one will surely awaken all your 5 senses.
Spread over an area of 20 acres filled with amazing murals , vibrant landscape which has flowers , plants and many other things to take your breath away.

Location: Said-ul-ajab village, M.B. Road, close to the Mehrauli heritage area in New Delhi. Near Saket.
Entry Cost: Free.
Opening Hours: Daily from 6.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.

3.Adventure Island

Situated in Rohini this is a must visit for all those who are in delhi surrounded by mall this huge amusement park is filled with amazing rides.
A family or friends outing here is recommended .
Prices – They are different for both adults and children and students get a discount(ID required ).

4. Red Fort –

Built by the Mughals this amazing structure still holds today and is now one of the recognized monuments .
A one hour sound and light show of the fort’s history is held each evening

Location: Opposite Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi.
Entry Cost: $5 or 250 rupees. Free for children under 15
years.
Opening Hours: Sunrise until sunset. Closed Mondays.

5. Humayun’s Tomb
Built in 1570 this is said to be the inspiration for Taj Mahal.
This tomb hosts the body of 2nd mughal emperor Humayun .
It’s architectural structure is admired all over .

Location: Nizamuddin East, New Delhi. Near the Nizamuddin train station, off Mathura Road.
Entry Cost: $5 or 250 rupees. Free for children under 15 years.
Opening Hours: Sunrise until sunset, daily.

6.Hauz Khas Village –
Placed within the green part of Delhi this is a place filled with ancient history , art to buy , places to eat – hangout and go gaga in the shops located there.
With lush green environment and many restaurants to choose from .
This place surely is a must.

7. Museums –
There are plenty of Museums and Planetarium to visit in Delhi if you are interested
in them
– National Museum – This museum contains all the pieces of history of and India and places outside India . With It’s rare collection of coins and informative Kiosks you are bound to leave feeling more informed
– Doll museum – Shankar’s International Doll museum houses over 6,500 dolls collected from over 85 countries
– Railway Museum- This a wonderful collection of all the trains that there ever were in the evolution of the Indian History.

8.Qutub Minar And Iron Pillar
The tallest building of it’s time this massive structure has survived a lot and now stands today with all it’s glory.
With over 5 stories tall it has Holy quran inscribed on it along the way up.
And along with stands a pillar whose mystery still has not been decoded
by anyone .

9. Connaught Place
This is the place for all those interested in shopping and going out for lunch or dinner.
This place is filled with restaurants , movie theaters , Clothes store so you won’t ever get bored.

10. India Gate
Located infront of the Rastrapati Bhavan and close to the Indian Parliament .
This Epic War Memorial was built for all those brave soldiers who lost their lives while fighting in World War for india.

Opening hours – Early morning and closes 9-10pm
