iskcon-bangalore1The city is too vast to be explored on a single day. Bangalore attracts a lot of visitors on a regular basis from the nearby cities and states, who are keen in experiencing Bangalore very closely. This is highly impossible considering the short span of time the visitors carry and the longer traffic hours the city offers, leaving the city unexplored. I have been a Bangalorean since 2008, yet there are local places which are yet to be explored. The Government has taken a step forward and have come out with Hop on Hop off buses (HOHO), taking you through the 21 major destinations of Bangalore including Temples, heritage site, malls, lakes and gardens.

The passengers are requested to be at Kempegowda bus station  (Majestic ) by 8.30 am, if they are willing to cover all the 21 spots on a single day. The buses can also be boarded from the origin locations till 9.35 pm. There are 7 buses which ply throughout the city with an interval of 35 – 40 mins. The tickets are priced as following:

Adults: Rs 250

Children: (6 – 12 yrs): Rs 150

The tickets can be used to board any BMTC buses on the same day, excluding the Airport buses.

Destinations covered by HOHO buses:

It is always advisable to go with prior reservation.

This is the best way to catch up with the city and explore the best destinations of the city. The tourists as well as locals will surely appreciate this initiative as it saves time and is economical. The Bangalore Darshan in a day is worth the penny invested.
