Kanha – The Multi Cuisine restaurant

A food joint that caters to the need of all sorts of people in Jaipur would be Kanha. There may be other eating places that serve different cuisines but this place tends to be different from the others because of a lot of reasons. And if you are new to the city and haven’t tried out this place, then you’ve got to.

So when a student, who is not familiar with the city and is still in the exploration mode, asked me where to go to have some good fast food, Kanha was the first place that came to my mind. It is a place that you can’t label to be ‘for the youngsters’ or a ‘family place’, it’s a place for all. You can see a gang of young boys and girls discussing loudly about how much fun they had the other day while finishing off noodles or a family enjoying south Indian delicacies with the kid wanting to try everything from everyone’s plate.

What it offers??

Everything they offer is delicious and at a reasonable price so let’s find out what items sell like hot cakes and make people come back for more.

You can find food items from every cuisine. Continental, Chinese, South Indian, North Indian, you name it and it’s there. Although the international cuisines are indianized but the Indian delicacies are quite authentic in taste and are a favorite of many Jaipurites. All time favorite snacks like Samosas, Chhola Bhatura, Dhoklas are a hit with the people.

Not only does Kanha serve main course dishes but also has a variety of cool refreshing drinks like shakes and mocktails. And when it comes to dessert, you just can’t say no to the lip smacking ice-creams and kulfis that it has to offer.

If you are the one who likes the salty and zingy flavors then you should definitely check out the range of Namkeens they have. The Bhujias are great to go with anything you eat or simply to crunch when you are hungry.

When you enter the restaurant, the first thing that will catch the eyes of the kids, usually, are the amazing looking sweets. You can choose from a wide selection of sweet dishes that are made of pure Ghee and Mawa. From assorted ones to dry fruit sweets and from Kaju Barfi to Bengali sweets, you can get it all here.

Another product that is bought a lot by the people, especially during festivals like Diwali, are the gifts that they put together by combining different Indian Sweets or Namkeens or both. A present like that for your relatives or someone you greet during the festivities is sure to make them feel pleased.

For those who would like to have a full meal in the form of a Thali rather than fast food, then this place provides the regular Thali options as well. The selections include Special North Indian Thalis and Punjabi Thalis to satisfy your appetite.

Kanha has its branches all over the Pink city. It is located at Vaishali Nagar, Jhotwara, Tonk Road, Malviya Nagar and C-scheme. And if you are a regular there, then you are one smart cookie!
