The chief minister of UP Yogi Adityanath has expressed his faith and reaffirmation that BJP will be winning 73 plus seats in UP. In his recent address not has he expressed his optimism for th2019 polls but also questioned the opposition on the Dalit issue and blamed the Samajwadi Party for trying to siphon off almost Rs 3,500 crore through Purvanchal expressway.

“The next year will witness two Kumbh melas – one, the political Kumbh when people will vote to elect the next Prime Minister and, second, when lakhs of people will take part in the religious festival at Sangam in Prayag. The winner of the political Kumbh mela will be Narendra Modi who is bound to sweep the election,” he stated in the inaugural ceremony of BJP’s working committee.

Amit Shah who is also on tour has shown the similar kind of optimism as the state’s chief minister. In his address, Shah claimed that The party has set a target of 73-plus seats for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in UP, and BJP president Amit Shah has asked party workers to ensure 51 percent votes for the party from all sections of voters.

Attacking the SP for their actions regarding the Purvanchal Express, the CM said that the Samajwadi Party government awarded the contract of Purvanchal expressway for Rs 15,215 crore even when the government had not acquired land but the BJP government awarded the contract at a price of Rs 11,800 crore and with more advanced specifications.

“The move of the SP government proves that they wanted to earn Rs 3,500 crore as a kickback through this project,” he alleged.

Re-emphasising on the idea of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikaas’ the UP Cm stated that BJP has always stuck to this goal and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Amit Shah commended the work carried out in the state too.

“The BJP government in the state has done a lot in a short period but more is required which will be done in the coming days,” he said applauding the effective administration work carried out so far.
