In a bid to stimulate the Bhartiya Janta Party(BJP) campaign, BJP chief Manoj Tiwari is in a conversation with Kumar Vishwas and Haryanvi singer-dancer Sapna Choudhary, to convince them to join the ruling party, and if not, at least to campaign for the elections, sources said.
Considering, Vishwas as a great orator, Sources said that earlier, Kumar Vishwas has shown his interest in fighting from the Ghaziabad seat of Lok Sabha elections, which is upheld by General VK Singh. However, the sources clarified that even after getting a BJP ticket, Vishwas will not fight from Delhi. He might be given an important post in the party and can be considered for responsibilities in the future form any other state.
Manoj Tiwari met Bigg Boss 11 contestant Sapna Choudhary over dinner on Sunday. In the interest of Sapna joining politics and rumors over her association with Congress party, Tiwari asked her to campaign for BJP in the North West, West and South constituencies of the assembly since it is populated by a majority of jats.
In his approach of gaining the confidence of the Haryanvi singer-dancer, Tiwari convinced her that she might lose the elections on a Congress ticket and that ideologically she has more in common with BJP. He also advised her to start campaigning for her youth will enhance her chances of contesting the elections in the future with her abundant political experience by then.
The two leaders, Manoj Tiwari, and Kumar Vishwas have shared cordial relations and have met often at the sidelines of the TV programmes where Tiwari as expressed his desires of asking Vishwas to join the saffron party.
In the recent commotion, Sapna Choudhary joining the Congress party, Congress leader Raj Babbar tweeted a photo of Sapna Choudhary with Priyanka Gandhi, claiming that she has joined the party. She later denied doing so the next day.
In her reply to joining the party confusion, Sapna mentions that all party has equal importance for her. She will not be campaigning for either of them.
The developments from the Monday night meeting that was scheduled between Tiwari and VIshas are yet to be unveiled.
