After the Chief Secretary and AAP tussle came into light, the Aam Aadmi Party threw a fresh set of accusations. The Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash and the IAS Association were accused of attacking Delhi minister Imran Hussain.

The BJP-led Centre is backing the IAS association and boycotting the work of the Delhi government, accused AAP.

Saurabh Bharadwaj, chief spokesperson of AAP’s Delhi unit alleged that the physical assault on Delhi minister Imran Hussain was a result of a conspiracy hatched at the L-G House. The Lieutenant Governor, Chief Secretary and the IAS Association were the parties involved in it. Bharadwaj claimed that after the late-night meeting with the chief minister, the chief secretary visited the L-G at his residence. Police Commissioner and DCP, North also attended the meeting. However, no FIR was registered at night.

In the morning, a meeting was called by the IAS Association at the behest of CS and L-G, accused Bharadwaj. There they were instigated to assault every MLA and minister found in the Secretariat, he added. The thrashing of ministers was a part of the same hatch.

The AAP’s attack on L-G comes two days after Kejriwal and his Cabinet met Baijal to resolve the issue. Also, Kejriwal asked the protesting officers to join work.
