In a bid to start its Lok Sabha Elections Campaign, Aam Aadmi Party likely to organize its National Council meeting in Delhi on 29-30 December. The meeting is proposed to discuss the strategies for the Lok Sabha Elections. Apart from the national Capital, the party may also announce to contest Lok Sabha Polls in Punjab, where it won 4 seats in 2014 Lok Sabha Elections.

The AAP leadership has asked its volunteers to give five-six more months that are left for the Lok Sabha elections. According to AAP Functionary, It is also planning to bring back some of the old leaders who had once been part of it to give strength to the party in a run-up to the Lok Sabha Elections 2019.

The party may also field some candidates in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in order to keep its workers intact with the party. There is a strong demand from the workers of these states to contest elections. Party’s Prominent faces Sanjay Singh, Gopal Rai are from these two states. Even the party wants to expand its organizational base in Hindi heartland states.

However, after drawing a blank in recently concluded assembly polls, the party wants to contest the Lok Sabha Elections in a planned way. Aam Aadmi Party has already appointed its in-charges for all seven parliamentary seats.

Apart from this, Party also seeking feedbacks in a view to filed its candidates in Haryana, where Naveen Jaihind, Husband of DCW Chief Swati Maliwal is looking after party affairs.
