Uttar Pradesh is taking many steps to ensure the overall growth of the state under Yogi Adityanath government. Recently UP was ranked as the number one state for adopting policies for urbanization, where 61 cities opted for value capture financing to fund infrastructure projects.

Also Yogi-government helped the first mega project in UP by waiving off stamp duty of Samsung, which it had to pay for the lease of land to set up the Rs 4,900 crore project in Noida.

Adding to the measures adopted by UP government for improvement and growth of the state, also took forward the policies of former CM, stating that no contractors with criminal records will be allowed to bid for PWD projects, ensuring corruption free work.  making few amendments in it.

Adityanath has also agreed to a complete loan waiver to the farmers of Uttar Pradesh.

The measures just don’t stop here, Yogi-led government has taken yet another step to ensure that strict law and order is maintained in the state with the help of technology. ‘UP 100’ service was launched by his predecessor Akhilesh Yadav, Yogi took forward this initiative. Under this service, police will be made accountable to lodge FIRs and use ‘video evidence’ uploaded on the ‘UP 100’ portal by citizens as evidence. Besides 3,200 SUVs on the road for addressing distress calls, 1600 two-wheelers have been approved for urban policing.

Citizens making a call to the ‘UP 100’ service can now record the video of the crime while the police arrive and upload it on the ‘UP 100’ portal tagged with the event number allotted to their call. An OTP will be sent by the ‘UP 100’ centralised call centre to the mobile number from which the call came, for uploading the video, ensuring thereby it is being uploaded by the victim. A ‘UP 100’ vehicle will reaches to the spot for immediate action within 15 minutes and refers the matter to the nearest police station for an FIR.

This service also ensure that the police officials are not backing off from their duties giving lame reasons or calling any complaint a fake one. In his statement to ET UP Additional Director General of Police, Anil Agrawal told that, “Police stations will have to upload on a web portal what action it took on each call to ‘UP 100’ – whether an FIR was lodged or not. The uploaded video tagged to each call will be available to investigating officers for truthfulness and acting as evidence. There will be no excuse to not take action or wrongly dismiss any incident as false.”
