Yogi Adityanath led BJP government has completed its 100 days of rule at the state. In these 100 days Uttar Pradesh has witnessed many changes and is steadily moving towards development. Adityanath initiated many reforms for the betterment of the people.

In his interview to ET Uttar Pradesh deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Yogi government has achieved so much, that Akhileh Yadav government could not even achieve in 5 years. He said that soon a book will be released by the CM and himself about the details of the achievements of Yogi-government in 100 days. Few of the achievements of the government are:

  • Amongst all, the biggest achievement of the government is sanctioning loan waiver of  Rs 36,500 crore. It is the biggest waiver approved by any state.
  • Record acquisition of wheat was done in 100 days, which could be achieved by the government under Akhilesh Yadav.
  • Electricity supply is almost 18, 20 and 24 hours in villages, tehsils and district headquarters respectively in Uttar Pradesh.
  • The anti-romeo squad established a feeling of safety and security in the state.
  • The Yogi government has made sure that anyone with even one FIR filed against him cannot bid for any PWD projects, ensuring corruption free governance in the state.
  • He strictly ordered all the officials to act promptly and effectively to maintain law and order in the state. He directed officials to fix responsibility to ensure effective improvement in the law and order situation and said that no leniency will be tolerated.
  • Yogi government has taken steps towards forming a digitalised government in Uattar Pradesh and has ordered his official to implement the e-office by 1 Oct.
  • It has taken initiatives to maintain the heritage and cultural values of the state by starting daily Ram Leela in Ayodhya, Ras Leela in Vrindavan and setting up of Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan for pilgrims in Ghaziabad.
  • UP was ranked as the number one state for adopting policies for urbanization, where 61 cities opted for value capture financing to fund infrastructure projects.
  • Yogi-government helped the first mega project in UP by waiving off stamp duty of Samsung, which it had to pay for the lease of land to set up the Rs 4,900 crore project in Noida making way for prospects of more business in the state.
  • To ensure that strict law and order is maintained in the state with the help of technology. ‘UP 100’ service was launched by the Yogi-government.

Though the government has achieved a lot a few failures can also be listed of the government.

  • The Yogi government has to pay Rs 30,000 crore to its massive work-force this year due to 7th Pay Commission.
  • UP’s power companies are reeling under a Rs 21,000 crore deficit.

  • Incidents like the murder of traders in Mathura and Sitapur and trouble in Saharanpur also indicate the failure to maintain peace and harmony by the government.
