On the eve of Ugadi, Telugu new year, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Chandrababu Naidu released his party’s manifesto at his residence at Unadavalli in Guntur district on Saturday, for the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

The assurances in the Manifesto are a development of the 2014 manifesto given by the TDP party and its chief, Chandrababu Naidu.

Alleging the YSRCP president for releasing his party’s manifesto without prior knowledge of governance and issues of the state, Chandrababu Naidu claimed that over more than 24,000 farmers committed suicide in the regime of YS Rajashekhar Reddy. Naidu reminded people of the atrocities and attacks that happened during the reign of Rajashekhar Reddy. There was no crop holiday in the state.

Satisfying the people, Naidu said that no such incidents have been reported in the five years of his government. He said that he has implemented the debt redemption scheme to tune more than ₹24 thousand crores if his party comes into power.

His party intends to implement the Annadata Sukhibhava scheme that will benefit each farmer with a direct cash benefit of ₹15,000. He said that farmers all across the country have joined hands to fight against Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has been agitated because of the non-fulfillment of their promises.

Earlier in the day, the YSRCP chief, Jaganmohan Reddy released his party’s manifesto blaming the TDP for not implementing any of its promises and said that TDP has removed it 2014 manifesto from the official website.

The manifesto of YSRCP is mostly women-centric. The manifesto promises universal healthcare coverage for the lower and middle-class Arogyasari. The manifesto included employment opportunities, pension schemes and developed economy.
