The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) on Monday re-inducted Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam’s brother O Raja, after he terminated from the party of indulging in ‘Anti-Party’ Activities.

In an Official Statement that was signed by Both Chief Minister EK Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, it is clarified that O Raja has decided to rejoin the party after ‘expressing regret’.

On December 19, AIADMK has expelled O Raja, the brother of Tamil Nadu Deputy CM O Panneerselvam. He was accused of “anti-party” activities.

A release that was issued on December 19 signed by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Panneerselvam stated that Raja was removed for “for having acted against the party’s principles and ideologies, and for bringing disrepute to the party”.

He was sacked from all posts as well as the party’s primary membership.

O Raja has recently contested and won the election for the state-run milk cooperate Aavin, Madhurai, against the wishes of his brother and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam.
