Samajwadi Party Leader Akhilesh Yadav on Monday met his alliance partner, BSP Chief Mayawati ahead of the results of the national polls 2019. The meeting of the bigwigs took place at Mayawati’s residence in Lucknow.
Leaving the residence after the meeting, Samajwadi Party Leader Akhilesh Yadav refused on Exit Polls Projections. “Not now, if I will have to speak, I will speak later,” said former UP CM to reporters gathered to take his reaction on the exit polls.

Both the Mahagathbandhan partner has yet not made any comment on the Exit Polls.
BSP Supremo Mayawati had on Saturday also met the TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu to discuss the post-poll scenario.
It should be noted that almost all exit polls on Sunday after the culminating of last phase predicted Prime Minister Narendra Modi to return in power.
Almost all Exit polls predicted a clear Majority to Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) with above 300 seats. Polls predicted party’s landslide victory in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand among others.

Exit Polls also predicted BJP making in-routes in West Bengal and Odisha and gaining big in both the states.
Elections for 543 Lok Sabha seats were held between April 11 and May 19 across 7 phases of elections. The counting of votes for the mega polls is scheduled for May 23.
Amidst rumors about BSP Chief Mayawati slated to meet UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, BSP had on Monday clarified that ‘No meeting of its Supremo Mayawati is slated for today’.
Several media reports claimed that BSP Supremo Mayawati is likely to meet UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress President Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi.
