Amit and Akhilesh slamming each other

After BJP Chief, Amit Shah introduced his ‘Mission 2019’, where BJP plans to win 350 seats in 2019 Lok Sabha Polls, Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav poked fun at him by saying that the opposition parties have to leave for Nepal if the BJP won its target. He said that BJP seems to leave nothing for the opposition parties. Adding to this, he said that if they accomplish their target then all the opposition parties might have to leave for foreign or leave Uttar Pradesh.

The BJP, which won 282 seats in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, is now eyeing a two-third majority in Parliament.He accused BJP of not keeping to its promises and said that they did not do what they say and they do what they do not say. People should understand this that the Centre has done nothing for them in past three years. He added that people have suffered a lot under BJP.

For the next Lok Sabha elections, BJP has decided that the seats which BJP did not win in the last Lok Sabha elections, the team of the workers will work for them. These teams have been given the responsibility to work for a year or so. Similarly, a team of workers has also been formed for assembly elections.

He accused BJP of not keeping to its promises and said that they did not do what they say and they do what they do not say. People should understand this that the Centre has done nothing for them in past three years. He added that people have suffered a lot under BJP.

Asked why despite his claims of development in the state the people of UP did not vote for the SP, he said, “The people are now happy with us. But this is a democratic system and they will have to wait for five years. They were misled and did not take note of our work. But they have now understood.”

Akhilesh Yadav is an Indian politician and the president of Samajwadi Party. He was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh from 2012-2017. He was the youngest Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh as he was 38 years old when he held the office. His first significant success in politics was his election as a member of the Lok Sabha for the Kannauj constituency. In the 2017 Assembly elections, the SP-Congress Alliance headed by Yadav won 55 seats and was defeated by the BJP. He submitted his resignation to Governor Ram Naik on 11 March.

He has recently attacked the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh over the deaths of more than 70 children in Gorakhpur and demanded a probe by a Supreme Court judge into the tragedy. He alleged BJP of using the CBI to corner its political opponents and suggested that CBI should also investigate in Gorakhpur tragedy as well.

Over 70 children have died due to encephalitis and a reported shortage of oxygen supply at the Baba Raghav Das Medical College in Gorakhpur.
