It should be noted that CM HD Kumaraswamy-led Coalition government in Karnataka is facing intense heat after 11 MLAs from Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) submitted their resignation to the Assembly Speaker on Saturday, last week.
Soon after the development, Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy who was in the US, rushed back in a special Charted Flight that reached in Bangalore on Sunday.
All the Congress and JD-S Ministers had on Monday announced to step down from their Ministerial post making way for the rebel MLAs. However, disgruntled MLAs have said that they are not looking for any ministerial berth.
With the resignation of 11 MLAs of Congress-JDS and 2 Independent MLAs, the coalition government reduced to a minority with 104 MLAs which is 9 less than the required figures. All the rebel MLAs who are currently in Mumbai slammed Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy. However, they junked reports of joining the Bharatiya Janata Party.
