Gujarat BJP has canceled all the party programs scheduled for Wednesday in regards to the recent terrorist attacks on the pilgrims headed for Amarnath.

Along with holding a few meetings at the Gandhinagar townhall, BJP President Amit Shah was going to address the page presidents of seven districts of North Gujarat on Wednesday. Shah is on a drive across India well in advance preparing for the General Elections due in 2019.

Due to the incident of the recent attacks on Amarnath Yatrees, all the events have been canceled as all the victims were from Gujarat.

BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya issued a statement saying that Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is constantly in touch with the Centre regarding the latest activities in Amarnath.

NDA Presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind was also scheduled to meet Amit Shah, his meeting is also likely to be postponed.
