BJP party President Amit Shah during his three-day visit as a part of the ‘vistarak programme’ to West Bengal said that in the past three years the Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has slashed off three major reasons responsible for the decay of the society.
While addressing a gathering of BJP members Amit Shah On Tuesday highlighted the corruption free cabinet of Modi. He said that Modi government’s biggest achievement in the past three years is accomplishing a corruption free cabinet. Even the opposition who are always in a wait to criticise the government do not have any point to raise against the Modi cabinet in regards to corruption. “Our worst critic would also appreciate the fact that the Opposition parties that often raise many issues against BJP, actually failed to level a single case of corruption against the government,” he said.
The party president also attacking the ruling Trinamool Congress led by Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal said that the state is one of the most politically charged and violent states in India. He accused the TMC of brutally attacking anyone who dared to go against the government and believe in a different ideology. He also requested the champions of human rights to pay a visit to the state and visit the families of the accused, suffering the brutalities of the Banerjee government.
While addressing the gathering, Shah boasted about achievements of the Modi government saying that in the past three years, the ruling BJP has completely done away with three major problems prevailing in the political society. He said that BJP could successfully end dynasty politics, caste politics and appeasement politics. Praising the Prime Minister he further added that Narendra Modi has introduced the politics of performance.
Mockingly attacking the Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, who is on a two-week long tour of the US, Amit Shah said that “many leaders often go to America and address some university students. What will they do? They do not get a patient hearing in India.” Regarding the speech given by Rahul at the University of California Berkeley in the United States, Shah said that Rahul went and spoke there because he was afraid of speaking in front of his own countrymen. Attacking the UPA government he added that during their rule people had to wait for months to listen to the then Prime Minister address the nation. He further alleged that during the rule of the previous government everybody believed themselves to be the Prime Minister and no one actually regarded Manmohan Singh as the PM.
During his three-day visit Amit Shah also himself met the families of BJP workers who lost their lives in political clashes with TMC.
