There has never been an election In Karnataka where a party has helped the other party’s case in any way. But BJP’s president Amit Shah made a grand blunder on 27th March which came in handy for Congress.
Amit Shah said, “If there were ever a competition for the most corrupt government then the Yeddyurappa government would come first.“
If one can’t call this validation for Congress’ argument then what is? What makes it even better is that Shah isn’t completely wrong either. Shah who was speaking at a press conference in Bengaluru was seated next to Yeddyurappa BJP’s candidate in for the assembly elections and the punchline of Amit Shah’s unintended joke. Of course, he tried to put the cat back into the bag and said he meant Siddaramaiah but it was too late undoubtedly.
Congress was of course mighty impressed with Shah’s batting for the other team. Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter to make his point.
Now that the BJP IT cell has announced Karnataka elections, time for a sneak preview of our top secret campaign video!
Gifted to us by the BJP President, our campaign in Karnataka is off to a fabulous start. He says Yeddyurappa ran the most corrupt Govt ever…

Gandhi is not wrong, it would make a great campaign video one that everyone would watch. Siddaramaiah too didn’t pass up the opportunity to make merry of the situation.
The #ShahOfLies finally speaks truth. Thank you @AmitShah pic.twitter.com/WczQdUfw5U

Divya Spandana also dug up another moment where Amit Shah had made a similar blunder.
This isn’t the first time btw- what exactly are Amit Shah’s feelings towards yedyurappa? All’s not good in the hood- pic.twitter.com/cVzGtsOIz3
