After Bhartiya Janata Party‘s ‘poor show’ in Telangana assembly polls, BJP leadership has decided to introspect and analyze reasons for the debacle and get ready for General Elections 2019. BJP in recently concluded assembly polls in the state could only managed to secure one seat against its 5 seats in 2014 polls.

T Raja Singh, who is quite famous for his controversial remarks representing ‘Goshamahal’ constituency, was the only MLA from the BJP who survived the KCR wave in the state and won with a majority of 17,734 votes in the Assembly elections. Earlier this year in a run to polls, T Raja Singh hit the headlines first when he said to change the name of Hyderabad and Secunderabad if BJP voted to Power in Telangana.

BJP national president Amit Shah would visit Hyderabad on December 24 to review party affairs. Amit Shah will hold talks with party pramukhs and karyakartas at the booth level. A cluster of three parliamentary constituencies will be reviewed.  PM Narendra Modi would also visit Hyderabad to address party workers and leaders in January.

Informing about the visit, BJP Telangana unit president K Laxman said the party would thoroughly introspect the election results and get ready for the Lok Sabha elections with an aim to make Modi as PM once again in 2019.

“While party morcha meetings at the national level have begun from today, the national council meeting will be held in Delhi on January 11 and 12. Amit Shah and Modi will personally review the party position in all the LS seats,” K Laxman Added.

In recently concluded assembly polls, TRS registered a landslide victory bagging 88 seats out 119 seats in the State.
