The first session of the 15th Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly will begin from June 12, Wednesday said an official notification on Thursday. The notification stated that the session will begin at 11:05 am.

All the elected MLAs will take oath on June 12 and June 13. The newly elected MLAs will elect the speaker of the assembly on June 13. Governor ESL Narasimhan will address next day the joint session of both the houses – Assembly and the Council.

Sources said a senior legislator will be appointed first as pro-tem Speaker before the start of the Assembly Session. Governor will administrate the oath to pro- tem speaker who, later will administrate the oath to all newly elected MLAs of the House.

While the Leader of Assembly and Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday called a legislative party meeting to take a call on its Cabinet Colleagues. It is expected that all the newly selected Legislators will take oath on Saturday at the state secretariat.

YSR Congress Party Legislator Mohammed Mustafa Sheik on Friday said that Chief Minister  Jagan Mohan Reddy‘s state cabinet will have five deputy Chief Ministers – one each from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Castes, Minority, and Kapu community.

While Other Lawmaker who was also a part of the Legislative party meeting said that 25 ministers will be inducted in the state cabinet led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy on May 30 took oath as Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh.

Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP in recently held polls registered a landslide victory in both assembly and national polls in the state. YRSCP won 151 assembly seats out of the 175 assembly seat in the state and unseat Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP Government.

TDP won 23 assembly seats while one seat was bagged by Pawan Kalyan‘s Jana Sena who has forged an alliance with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).

While in national polls, YSRCP bag 22 Lok Sabha Seats out of 25 seats in the state. Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party won 3 Lok Sabha Seats.
