Hyderabad Police Top Cop on Wednesday Anjani Kumar said that they have the evidence that revealed that the names of those who are anti TDP have been deleted. This came days after TRS led Telangana Government has constituted a SIT to probe the role of private Information Technology company that developed an app for the Telugu Desam Party, TRS Andhra Pradesh Counterpart.

Speaking about the case, Hyderabad Commissioner Anjani Kumar said the ‘Prime facie probe suggests that names of those who are residing in Hyderabad but are the narratives of Andhra Pradesh seems missing from the Voter list’ ‘We are investigating the matter under the directives of Election Commission along with Cyberabad Police Station’ Top Cop added.

He further talking about the alleged ‘data stolen’ case said that ‘ data saved in the AP government application was shared with the IT Company which has further shared with a ‘Key Person’ However, we are further probing who the key person is.

Meanwhile, the Telangana Government constituted SIT took up the case against the Hyderabad based Private IT Company that has been alleged of stealing sensitive and private data of Andhra Pradesh natives who are living in Hyderabad that after bifurcation comes in Telangana. The TRS led Telangana Government’s SIT will be headed by Inspector General of Police (West Zone) Stephen Ravindra.

The Case against the private IT firm was lodge on March 2 at Madhopur Police Station under Cyberabad with various sections  Indian Penal Code. Currently, the Police is looking for the CEO the company D Ashok who as per police is a key suspect.

The complaint in this matter was lodged by T. Lokeswara Reddy that has alleged that a private IT Firm has stolen sensitive details of citizens including – Aadhar Data, Voter ID and other personal details.

This led to an intense war of words between Andhra Pradesh’s TDP and Telangana’s TSR. TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu blamed TRS of stealing the data to help YSR Congress in the upcoming general elections.

While in Another development, Andhra Pradesh State’s Chief Election Commissioner Gopal Dwivedi on Wednesday said that State Poll Body has received over 8 Lakh Voter Deletion Requests in last 15 days out to which almost 25% that is 2 Lakh found to be fake.
