In odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik has suspended kendrapara MP Baijayant Jay Panda from Biju Janta Dal (BJD) for anti party activities.
Announcement of suspension
Biju Janta Dal vice president and state minister SN Patra at a press conference today made the announcement on suspension of Baijayant Jay Panda. He said “Party president Naveen Patnaik has suspended kendrapara MP from the primary membership of Biju Janta dal.”
Why he was suspended?
Party delegates has imposed so many allegations on him regarding his loyalty for party and many others too.His conduct towards Biju Janta Dal workers was not respectful at all. Due to this the party’s Kendrapara district president Dhruba sahoo lodged a complaint against him. Also there were allegations of missappropriations of party funds against him.
While making announcement Patro also said that Sri panda has been directly or indirectly serving to weaken the party in all possible fields Parliament, state everywhere.
Allegations On Panda
Patro said, Panda claims of being a founder member of BJD are totally false, also panda was supporting opposite party members and he didn’t campaign for Biju Janta Dal anywhere.
earlier also he was removed from the spokesperson of Biju Janta Dal after he made several remarks over matter of party. He had been in news several times for his newspaper articles and a series of comments on social media after Patnaik request senior party leader not to go on social media and media on party matters.

I am shocked at this news. Naveen Patnaik didn’t see through the conspiracy against me lead by an IAS officer now controlling the party. I vehemently deny the allegations against me, they are entirely false and base less i’ll pray to jagnnath for guidance before I respond further.
Now it will be interesting to see what will be the next step of panda against the allegations on him.
