Bihar CM Nitish Kumar supports Arvind Kejriwal opposition to central government's ordinance on Delhi services

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal commented on the ordinance brought by the central government to establish the National Capital Service Authority (NCCSA) in Delhi. He said, “Day after tomorrow, I have a meeting with Mamata Ji at 3 p.m. After that, I will go to meet the presidents of all the parties in the country. Today, I also requested Nitish Ji to speak to all the parties. I will also travel to every state and, when this bill comes to the Rajya Sabha, I will speak to everyone to gather support in order to defeat it.”

During this time, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, “The Supreme Court’s decision was correct, but it is strange that the central government is still attempting to do what it is doing. Everyone needs to come together. We are with Kejriwal, and we need to unite as many opposition parties as possible and run a campaign together. We are fully with Kejriwal.”

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav stated that we have come here to support Kejriwal because he is facing the same difficulties. If there was a BJP government in Delhi, would the Lieutenant Governor have the courage to engage in such actions? The BJP will never make a comeback in Delhi.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, after attending the swearing-in ceremony of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, arrived in Delhi on Saturday.

It is worth mentioning that Nitish Kumar’s initiative towards opposition unity received great appreciation during the swearing-in ceremony of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, who was standing near Rahul Gandhi, invited Nitish Kumar to join him, and they were photographed shaking hands. The arrangement was made for Nitish Kumar to sit near Rahul Gandhi on the stage, and discussions were held on opposition unity.
