Intensifying its hunt to seek another term in the Office, the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) on Tuesday launched its first advertisement based on ‘Janta Maaf Nahi Karegi’ similar to those run by the party in a run-up to the national elections 2019. BJP’s ‘Janta Maaf Nahi Karegi’ had in 2014 played a crucial role in setting up the tone for the party by bashing the then ruling Congress.

Based on the same theme of ‘Janta Maaf Nahi Karegi’, the saffron party in its first advertisement ahead of national elections 2019 slammed Congress for continuously raising doubts and questions on various issues.

Bharatiya Janata Party in its Twitter handle shared the 39-second clip video where a woman is seen racking up the Congress for raising questions and doubts on the work done by the party.

The advertisement begins with a woman saying “Questions after questions. You are questioning the surgical strike and air strike. You are questioning the Supreme Court and CBI. You are questioning the statue of Sardar (Patel) You are questioning China fleeing from Doklam. If you have lost elections, then you are raising questions on EVMs. When the world is lauding India, you are questioning the World Bank. You raise questions even When anything good happens in our country then people will not forgive again those raise fingers,” the woman could be heard saying in the advertisement targetting Congress.

Apart from using Janta Maaf Nahi Karegi theme, BJP had in 2014 General elections also ran multiple campaigns on ‘Abki Baar Modi Sarkar’ and ‘Acche Din Aane Wale Hain’. While in 2019, the Party is using a hailing campaign with a tag line ‘Modi hai to Mumkin hai’.

With just days left for the first phase of polling, All the parties including the saffron party is leaving no stone unturned to outdo each other in the mega battle of ballots. BJP in a run-up to the mega polls has already declared its candidates on over 330 candidates across the nation.

Election Commission had on March 10 declared schedule for General Elections 2019. Lok Sabha Polls are slated for April-May this year that would spread on Seven Phases starting from April 11 to May 19.

Counting of Votes and Results for the mega Battle of ballots will be announced on May 23 four days after the 7th phase of voting.
