Lok Sabha Polls 2019: BJP declares 9 more Candidates; fields Sunil Soni from Raipur

Gearing up for the General Elections 2019, the Bhartiya Janta Party on Sunday released another list of 9 Candidates in addition to 281 Candidates released by the party in its initial fourth lists. The party in its list of 9 Candidates declared 6 from Chhattisgarh, and one each from Maharastra, Telangana and Meghalaya.

The party in the list named Ragunanandab Rao from Medak Lok Sabha of Telangana, while announced Santosh Pandey to contest from Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandagaon, Sunil Soni to contest from Raipur.

All the names in the list include:

Chhattisgarh

1. Jyoti Nand Dubey from Korba
2. Arun Saw from Bilaspur
3. Santosh Pandey from Rajnandgaon
4. Vijay Baghel from Durg
5. Sunil Soni from Raipur
6. Chunnilal Sahu from Mahasamund

Telangana

1. Raghunanandan Rao from Medak Lok Sabha Seat

Meghalaya

1. Rikman G Momin from Tura ST Seat

Maharashtra

1. Sunil Baburao Mendhe from Bhandara-Gondiya Seat

The BJP till now has declared candidates on 290 seats, with 184 on the first list, 36 on the second list, 11 on third, 48 in the fourth and 9 in its fifth list. Bhartiya Janta Party earlier in its first list of 184 Candidates announced Prime Minister Narendra Modi contesting from Varanasi, BJP President Amit Shah from Gandhi Nagar. While party in its other lists declared BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra from Puri, Odisha.

Election Commission had on March 10 declared schedule for General Elections 2019. Lok Sabha Polls are slated for April-May this year that would spread on Seven Phases starting from April 11 to May 19. Counting of Votes and Results for the mega Battle of ballots will be announced on May 23 four days after the 7th phase of voting
