Days after his assuming charge as BJP Working President, JP Nadda on Wednesday called on BJP Stalwarts and former BJP Chiefs Lal Krishna Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi in the national capital.

Today, I met Senior leader and former National President of the of the esteemed Murli Manohar Joshi and took his blessings. It is a privilege for me that Under his leadership I had the privilege of working as the National President of the Youth Front’, tweeted JP Nadda on Wednesday sharing the picture of the meeting.

While earlier in the day, he also called on BJP Stalwart LK Advani. Both Advani and Joshi were dropped by the party in the recently held national polls. Advani was replaced by BJP Chief Amit Shah from Gandhinagar Lok Sabha Seat, while Satyadev Pachauri replaced MM Joshi from Kanpur Lok Sabha constituency.

Calling him a source of inspiration, JP Nadda tweeted, ‘The former National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, guiding all of us, met the L.K.Advaniji and took his blessings. Advaniji is the source of inspiration for all of us. Your proximity always inspires us to work with dedication to the country’.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentary Board on Monday picked JP Nadda for the post of the party’s working President. Nadda will be assisting BJP Chief Amit Shah who is now been inducted in the Union Cabinet as Union Home Minister.

He appointment for a big post in the saffron party was on cards ever since he was kept away from the Council of Ministers. Nadda was also among the frontrunners in 2014 when Rajnath Singh resigned after joining the Union Cabinet. However, Shah took over as party president in the year 2014.

Jagat Prakash Nadda on Wednesday chaired its first meeting after assuming the charge on Monday. The meeting was attended by top leaders of the party, office bearers, general secretaries including Ram Madhav and Ram Lal.

Party’s working President JP Nadda discussed the issues related to upcoming assembly polls in three states namely, MaharashtraHaryana, and Jharkhand. It was decided in the meeting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) working President JP Nadda would be visiting all three poll-bound states to assess and review the ground realities.
