BJP Working President JP Nadda

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Working President JP Nadda will be on a two-day trip to Jharkhand, starting from Saturday. Jadda, during the visit, will be taking part in the BJP’s 5 week-long mega membership drive.

During his visit to Ranchi, JP Nadda is also expected to hold meetings with State Leaders and will take the stock of preparations for Assembly polls slated for November-December later this year.

Sources familiar with the development claimed that JP Nadda will be taking part in BJP’s core committee meeting which will also be attended by Chief Minister Raghubar Das, former CM Arjun Munda, and other State Top Leadership.

While on his day 2, BJP Working President JP Nadda will also hold discussions with a core group of the party to chart out a poll strategy for the upcoming Assembly Polls that are slated for November-December this year.

He will be accompanied by BJP General Secretary Arjun Singh.

JP Nadda had on Sunday, last week, held a review meeting with all the ‘morchas’ of the party. Party Morcha or the Cell including Minority, IT, Youth, Mahila, OBC, SC and ST attended the party held in the national capital.

JP Nadda in the meeting urged the members to increase the party’s membership through the 5-long mega membership drive. Reportedly, Nadda said that the party is setting up a target of 22-crore members.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had on Saturday launched BJP‘s Mega Membership Drive from his Parliamentary Constituency Varanasi.

With the mega membership Drive, BJP is trying to increase its membership by 20-30 percent with the mega campaign. Bharatiya Janata Party has currently over 11 crore members. Senior Leaders have been tasked with the responsibility of making it bigger.

Former Madhya Pradesh CM and Vice President of the party Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been given the charge of managing party’s mega membership drive.
