Rajasthan has always been known for its royal hospitalities and pleasures for the kings and Majesties, but it is for the first time that BJP is planning a royal welcome for the BJP party President Amit Shah in Jaipur on 21 July.

Amit Shah is on a three-day tour to Jaipur, during his stay, he will be having lunch at a Dalit’s house and will be meeting party office bearers, MPs, MLAs, intellectuals and other professionals and will leave on 23 July.

Before the arrival of Shah, everything in BJP headquarters is up to date and in perfect condition, no pending work is left undone and the headquarters are bathing with new lights from top to bottom. Everything has been renovated from the ceiling to the floor in the BJP office. 27 new ACs have been installed newly cushioned chairs are bought and wooden flooring is done in the office.

Amit Shah will be staying at the circuit house during his visit and BJP has invested Rs 15 lakh in making the arrangements for his stay. Every room including the dining and the drawing rooms are changed and only the lighting cost of two rooms is around Rs 1.5 lakh.

Defending the expenditure made by the party, Rajasthan BJP Social Welfare Minister Arun Chaturvedi said that nothing extraordinary has been done. Renovations happen from time to time when ever any major party leader visits the state capital. He also added that having lunch at the house of a poor Dalit family was no political agenda but it is just a gesture from the party’s side to uplift the poor and the backward classes by winning their confidence. He further said that it is party’s agenda to bring poor and deprived exploitation to the mainstream.

Special arrangements are done for the welcome of Amit Shah, President of Youth Front Ratindra Singh said. He further gave the details that when he arrives at the airport he will be escorted by 150-200 Harley Davidson bikes, followed by around 100 Hayabusa, followed by 200 Bullets, followed by other bikes. This welcome will surely remind the people of royal elephants and horses in the days of the kings.
